This past week at Leaders of Change, employees worked to research their team issues. Each team went into the community and surveyed community members about their issue. Then, they spent time compiling the results. Team E, for example, found that the majority of people who litter almost always see litter. Interesting stuff! After surveying community members, employees got the chance to interview some professionals in related fields.
Leaders of Change also spent time this week creating a college planning calendar to help them keep track of applications, recommendations, essays, FAFSA, and everything else needed for the college process. The week ended with trips for all employees. Some groups visited Swarthmore to learn more about a small local college that focuses on liberal arts. Other students visited the Enterprise Center CDC to talk with local stakeholders about their projects.
It was a very successful week!
