Leaders of Change Reunion

The members of Leaders of Change met on November 19, 2010.  They reenacted Harambee (which means coming together in Swahili). They did an assortment of cheers including everyone’s favorite “Popcorn”. They laughed and ate pizza while they watched videos of the things they did this summer.

A few of the interns from the Student Success Center that were also a part of Leaders of Change interviewed a few of their fellow peers. Nukia Bush who was a part of Leaders of Change was asked, “How has Leaders of Change impacted your senior year”? She replied by saying, “It made me think about going to college before I was being iffy about it”. Howard Robinson who was also a member of Leaders of Change was asked, “How has Leaders of Change changed you as a person?” He said, “It has me not scared of doing things I feared.” A Leader of Change has impacted my peers and myself all in our own unique way. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience or program.
