Expedition to Alvernia

A couple of Lady Jaguars, scoping out the facilities @ Alvernia

A group of University City High School seniors went on a trip to Alvernia University last week. It is located in Reading, Pa and was an hour to an hour and a half ride. When we got there our tour guides introduced themselves as well as the school itself. They let us know what their school has to offer and their requirements to attend the school.

In choosing a college, they said to always consider the location and the opportunities they offer for internships and jobs. We were also informed that Alvernia is a rolling admissions school which means it accepts applications all year. After the information session we had lunch which was pretty good and finished the trip with ways to pay for Alvernia. Overall it was a fun a trip and I would attend Alvernia University.
