Speak when you are angry—and you will make the best speech you’ll ever regret.
– Lawrence J. Peter
I have learned that it is not always best to speak when you are upset. I used to always speak too fast when I was upset and I have lost people that meant a lot to me and I have lost out on opportunities that could have helped me out with my future. I will admit that it is very hard trying to hold back how you feel at the moment but sometimes the feelings you have towards someone or something may only be momentary. I believe it is best to think about things and then handle the situation.
